Scientific research short-arc xenon lamp
Model

Scientific research short-arc xenon lamp source is a fully featured, 150 to 450 W source of UV NIR, CW radiation. It is small, bright arcs make it ideal for illumination of small targets. Short-arc Xenon lamps are filled with several atmospheres of xenon gas.
They reach 80 % of final output within 10 minutes or less of starting. its' arc color is very close to sunlight (6000 K). The spectrum is continuous in the visible range and extends far into the ultraviolet. Xenon lamp exhibits strong spectrum lines in the near infrared between 780 and 1020 nm and some weak lines in the blue portion of the spectrum.
Xenon short-arc lamps are made with rated wattages from 150 to 450 wattages and are available for operation in a vertical position. The breakdown voltage between the electrodes will run from 10 kV for a small lamp up to 50 kV or more for lamps rated 450W.
